DAILY MASS MOVING TO ST. MARY'S, CRESCENT & OTHER
IMPORTANT PARISH UPDATES
The week of August 3, we will be adding some much needed upgrades to our door access system and security cameras to improve both operations and security throughout the building.
Starting August 10 through approximately September 4, our parish building will undergo asbestos abatement performed by licensed professionals with independent oversight throughout the project. During this time, all daily Mass, the Tuesday Miraculous Medal Novena, and the Wednesday Holy Hour will move to St. Mary's, Crescent.
Friday morning Mass and the Knights breakfast will remain at St. Mary's a bit longer, through the completion of our kitchen renovation in early January.

School Supply Drive
Now Through August 15th
SCHOOL IS OVER FOR THE SUMMER, BUT THE SCHOOL SUPPLY SALES HAVE JUST BEGUN!
Every year we collect new school supplies and backpacks for the Mechanicville Area Community Services Center for distribution to students in the Mechanicville, Stillwater, Hoosic Valley and Waterford school districts. Keep an eye out for sales at local stores so your purchases can help children get the necessary items to succeed throughout the school year.
๏ปฟDonations may be left in the Atrium or between the Faith Formation doors with the food drop off. Last year, due to your generosity, 200 backpacks filled with supplies were given to children in need! Thank you for being so willing to help others!
Youth Ensemble
6 Week Collaborative Summer Program
Our next collaborative Youth Ensemble Mass will be held at St. Mary's Crescent on Sunday, August 2, and our final Mass will be Saturday, August 15, at Corpus Christi. Youth in grades 7 - 12 can sign up on our website to sing or play an instrument. More information can be found on our website.
Rehearsals will be held on the day of Mass.
- August 2 - St. Mary's, Crescent - Rehearsal at 4:30 pm for 7 pm Mass
- August 15 - Corpus Christi - Rehearsal at 1:30 pm for 4 pm Mass
American Red Cross Blood Drive
Tuesday, August 13th, 12 pm - 6 pm
The St. Edward's Parish Wellness Team will be hosting St. Edward's annual American Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 from 12 pm - 6 pm in the St. Edward's Social Hall.nPreregistration is strongly encouraged at redcrossblood.org.

Mental Health Support Group
Meeting Dates Listed Below
St. Ed's Behavioral Mental Health Ministry is sponsoring a monthly support group for family and friends who are helping loved ones navigate through mental health challenges. The support group facilitator is Kevin Moran, a psychiatric social worker with over 25 years of experience in mental health care. The support group will be held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the social hall. Please mark your calendars for the following 2026 dates: 8/13, 9/10, 10/8, 11/12 & 12/10. All information shared by participants at the support group is confidential.
