Wednesdays Beginning October 1st

A bereavement support group for anyone who is mourning the death of a loved one will begin meeting at St. Edward's the week of October 1st at 6:30 PM.

The group will meet for 8 consecutive weeks. If you are interested in attending, need more information, or know of someone

Christmas Gifts For The Edlerly

Sign-Ups After Each Mass 11/1 & 11/2 - Collecting Until 11/16

We will be holding our annual Christmas Gifts for those in need residing in Saratoga County. Our sign-up will be after each Mass the weekend of 11/1 & 11/2. These gifts are distributed to several agencies to help lift the spirits of those who are truly alone this holiday season.


Please return unwrapped gifts no later than Sunday, 11/16. A wrapping party will be on Thursday, 11/20 at 9:30 AM in the social hall. If you have any questions, please call “Jingles” a.k.a Ann Wertalik at 518-469-9847. Thank you for your continued generosity!

The season of giving is upon us! Each year, our parish family comes together to help local families who are struggling during the holidays. Through your generosity, we’re able to bring the light of Christ into homes that might otherwise go without.
All gifts should be returned to the parish by November 30 so that volunteers have time to sort and distribute them before Christmas.
Whether you sponsor an entire family, purchase one item, or offer a donation toward a gift card, your kindness makes a real difference. Together, we can share the true spirit of Christmas—hope, love, and joy—with our neighbors in need.

Join our network of parishes for this unique experience of sacred chant and jazz. Tickets are $10 per person and will be held at St. Edward's.

Join us for breakfast with St. Nick! Tickets will be available for purchase the weekend of November 29th & 30th after all Masses.

Learn about what brought them to the Saratoga District (as Saratoga County was then called), their experience here, and their fates after the battles. Based on personal accounts written by those who witnessed the Turning Point of the American Revolution, this program offers a glimpse into the details of daily life and their history-changing actions with presenter, Anne Clothier. Yesterday, the Town of Clifton Park officials, Phil Barrett & Mike Traider, delivered a car load of donated food from their food drive. This is on top of the generosity of this parish as we've seen an increase in donated food items. Thank you to everyone who has donated, prepared, and distributed food to those in need. Your generosity, compassion, and willingness to serve have brought hope and comfort to many who are feeling the weight of the current crisis. We will be collecting NEW UNOPENED travel-size personal care items from October 4th through November 14th. We are in need of Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Lotion, Soap, Deodorant, Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Kleenex, and Chapstick. There will be bins in the atrium for these items. Please place the items in the appropriate bins in the atrium. Thank you for your generosity!

This weekend, we join parishes across the country in celebrating Priesthood Sunday, a special day set aside to honor the priestly vocation and the dedicated men who serve our Church. Priesthood Sunday is an opportunity to reflect on the gift of the priesthood, to thank our priests for their faithful ministry, and to pray for them as they continue to guide us in faith. At St. Edward’s, we are especially grateful for the leadership, compassion, and spiritual care of our priests, Fr. Dan, Fr. Jim, and Fr. Pat. Their presence at the altar, in the confessional, at our hospitals, and in our community reminds us that God continues to work through them in powerful ways. Let us take time this week to offer our personal thanks, a kind note, or, most importantly, our prayers for our priests. May God bless them abundantly in their ministry, and may He continue to raise up new vocations to serve the Church for generations to come.

With the first days of Fall upon us we are reminded that there are many among us for whom securing a good winter coat will be difficult. Please go through your closets to locate NEW OR GENTLY USED coats and snow pants that are clean. Adult and children’s sizes are needed. The Ladies of Charity, a Catholic Women’s organization, will be distributing them in October to families residing in Cohoes, Green Island, Waterford and Watervliet. You may leave coats in the collection boxes in the Atrium until Sunday, October 5th . Thank you for your continuous help as many families are supported by your generosity with lovely coats year after year. With the first days of Fall upon us we are reminded that there are many among us for whom securing a good winter coat will be difficult. Please go through your closets to locate NEW OR GENTLY USED coats and snow pants that are clean. Adult and children’s sizes are needed. The Ladies of Charity, a Catholic Women’s organization, will be distributing them in October to families residing in Cohoes, Green Island, Waterford and Watervliet. You may leave coats in the collection boxes in the Atrium until Sunday, October 5th . Thank you for your continuous help as many families are supported by your generosity with lovely coats year after year.
