St. Edward’s Music Ministry invites you to join with us as we make music for our Lord. We are so fortunate to have several different choirs serving our parish: Wednesday Choir (St. Edward’s Choir), Thursday Choir (Contemporary Ensemble), the Choristers, Bell Choir, and our Funeral Choir. We also have cantors who lead us in song when choirs are not present. Our newest addition to our music ministry is the Family Ensemble, where moms, dads, and children lead music together for liturgy.

The Wednesday Choir, our traditional adult choir, meets from 6:30PM to 8:00PM in the church. Our Thursday Choir, the Contemporary Ensemble, meets from 6:30PM to 8:30PM in the church. Both choirs welcome singers as well as instrumentalists. The Funeral Choir meets as needed; this ministry is for you if your schedule is flexible and you would like to offer solace to grieving families. The Choristers, our children’s choir, invites children in grades 1 through 8 to join us in song. The Choristers rehearse three Thursdays each month and sing at Mass once a month during the school year. Bell Choir meets at the director’s home. Family Ensemble rehearses as needed.

St. Edward’s fourth SUMMER MUSIC CAMP will be held from Tuesday, August 20th through Friday, August 23rd from 9:15AM to 12:15PM. We will sing, play games, have snacks, and create some crafts, as well as have fun with old and new friends. The children will sing at the 4PM Mass on Saturday, August 24th. There will be a $10 fee per child to help defray some of the costs of the camp. Registration forms are available at the link below or at St. Edward’s Church. Please return the form to the parish office as soon as possible.
