The Emmaus Project is a once-a-month community meal prepared for and provided to the community and members of The United Church of Cohoes. This takes place on the fourth Saturday of every month. We have four core groups that cook or serve approximately every fourth month or three times a year. We also need people to transport food from St. Edward’s to Cohoes as we do all the food preparation at Cohoes. Being on a team, you will get to know your team members and build a sense of enthusiasm, camaraderie and a chance for fellowship with them. We also welcome substitutes for our teams if you want to try this ministry and do not want to commit to a team. At the United Church of Cohoes, we have a diverse population who come to break bread and our participation is indeed a blessing for all those who volunteer. For more information or to volunteer for this ministry, please contact Ann Evans at firstname.lastname@example.org.
